Developed for use in guide bands on valves that come into contact with food, Y005 PTFE Compound complies with FDA and EU regulations. Material helps achieve targeted balance between pressure resistance and flexibility; authorization for contact with food; and resistance to clean-in-place and sterilization-in-place cleaning products. At 80°C and 120°C, compound displays up to 75% less tendency to extrusion than other materials authorized for food contact.
