FORT SMITH - Fort Smith directors will consider hiring an Illinois attorney to weigh the feasibility of suing Whirlpool Corp. for violating the city's nuisance ordinance when a hazardous chemical leaked from the company's manufacturing plant and contaminated nearby groundwater.
