Free adds 215,000 mobile users, boosts sales 6.6% in Q1

(Telecompaper) French telecom group Iliad posted revenue up 6.6 percent to EUR 1.15 billion in the first quarter, compared to EUR 1.08 billion a year ago. Its operating subsidiary, Free, had over 18 million subscribers at the end of March, including some 12 million on mobile (4.3 mln on LTE) and more than 6.2 million on landline. Free said it added 215,000 net mobile subscribers in the first three months of the year.
