(Telecompaper) French telecom group Iliad, which operates under the Free brand, had 17.4 million subscribers at the end of September, compared to 16.92 million three months earlier and 16.47 million a year earlier. The company added 390,000 mobile customers to reach 11.32 million, up on 10.53 million at the end of September 2014. Mobile revenue rose 11.4 percent to EUR 651 million from EUR 642 million in the year-earlier quarter. Free also signed up 91,000 new broadband customers. Mobile service revenue rose by 8 percent in the third quarter.
