General Motors is now above the five-million mark for the number of recalled vehicles so far this year. GM just announced five safety recalls affecting about 2.7 million US vehicles. These recalls include over 2.4 million previous generation cars for tail lamp malfunctions and about 140,000 2014 Chevrolet Malibus for hydraulic brake booster malfunctions. These follow a list of recalled units in GMs drive to repair older vehicles with faulty ignitions.
