Gildan Activewear says this year's results will be hampered by weak 4th quarter

The Montreal-based clothing manufacturer says sales of from its Gildan branded clothing initiative are now expected to grow by only 12 per cent this year, compared with the previous estimate of 15 per cent. The clothing maker, which is a major supplier of underwear and socks sold under various brand names, ramped up efforts earlier this to promote its Gildan brand.
