Global semiconductor sales increase in January year-over-year

The Semiconductor Industry Association , representing U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing and design, today announced that worldwide sales of semiconductors reached US$24.05 billion for the month of January 2013, an increase of 3.8 percent from January 2012 when sales were $23.16 billion.
