Greece deal not a sure-fire rally-maker for this market

Our sharemarket joined a global rally this week on signs that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has finally made an offer of budget cuts that could secure Greece's funding lifeline before it defaults on its debts and quits the euro. One problem for local investors however is that this sharemarket's mini-correction since the end of April did not also happen on Wall Street: if the Greek debt talks fail and Wall Street sinks, local shares will probably double down.
