(Telecompaper) HTC has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the HTC 10. The company has simplified its branding, dropping the 'One' and 'M' names for its latest top-of-the-range device. The HTC 10 comes with a metal casing with curved edges and 5.20-inch screen with QHD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels). A small button centred below the screen works as fingerprint sensor and 'home' touch. The Android 6.0 device runs the latest Qualcomm processor and comes with a 3,000 mAh battery with Fast Charge 3.0, 4 GB RAM and a choice of 32 or 64 GB internal storage, plus a slot for microSD cards up to 2 TB. The phone will be available in a choice of grey, silver or gold for a recommended retail price of EUR 749 from early May. Pre-orders start 12 April.
