The gross margin is expected to improve to around 21.75 percent from 17.8 percent in the last quarter, while the net result will be a loss of TWD 2.1-2.6 per share, reversing a profit of TWD 0.38 in Q4. HTC did not provide further details on its fourth-quarter handset sales. The company did announce a new licensing agreement with Nokia, putting an end to their multiple patent infringement cases. No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
