There are some very exciting things happening here in your Kinston Daily Free Press over the next few weeks and months and I feel like using my column to let you know about them! CELEBRATING COMMUNITY: Every year, your Free Press produces a special section - aptly nicknamed the "Progress Edition" - in which we highlight the great things happening in our area. In past years, the themes of those progress editions have included the comeback of downtown Kinston, arrivals of Sanderson Farms and Spirit AeroSystems to Lenoir County and various other positive developments.
