Hawley announces $1 million in grants to bolster agriculture, aid young farmers

Assemblyman Steve Hawley today announced that $1 million is now available to aid aspiring farmers to enter the agriculture industry. The New York State New Farmers Grant Fund will provide up to 50 percent of the cost for new farmers to start projects, purchase farm machinery and equipment and construct and improve farm buildings.
