Offering radiant power of 40 mW at 100 mA and switching speeds down to 15 ns, VSLB9530S comes in clear molded, leaded TELUX package with oval lens designed to support angle of half intensity of ±18° (vertical) and ±36° (horizontal). Angular distribution makes this 940 nm IR emitter, built on GaAIAs multi-quantum well technology, suited for gesture remote control. Resistivity allows continuous drive currents up to 150 mA, pushing achievable radiant intensity to 60 mW/sr at 150 mA.
