Benchtop units are suitable for applications in which sample or product is relatively small and must be processed in inert, reducing, or oxygen atmospheres. Tube preserves integrity of sample and furnace interior, preventing chemical reactions which might contaminate sample, damage furnace heating elements or insulation, or reduce maximum furnace operating temperature.
