Hormel posts record sales, but misses quarterly earnings target

CEO Jeffrey Ettinger said he was pleased by Hormel Foods' growth in 2014, but predicted modest growth in key segments in 2015. Hormel officials also announced the company will close a manufacturing facility in California and might pull the plug on a pork venture in Vietnam.
