When Robert Houghton and Jill VaskA© founded Redemtech Inc. in 1998, it wasn't unusual for corporations to retire fleets of used computers and phones by tossing them in the trash, data and all. With their new venture, Sage Sustainable Electronics LLC, they hope to make it just as unthinkable today to strip equipment down to component chips and metals without first considering refurbishing and reselling.
