(Telecompaper) Huawei has defended its security record in a press conference with international journalists at its office in Dongguan, China. The meeting follows certain countries banning the company from providing network equipment due to concerns it may serve as a backdoor to Chinese intelligence agencies, as well as the arrest of the company's CFO in Canada on a US warrant for suspected trade sanction violations.
