Humboldt County gas prices are on the rise

After problems at California refineries spooked the state's oil market, gas prices have jumped as much as 20-cents a gallon - and they could go up another dime or more in the coming days. California drivers are already paying the most in the nation for a fillup this year at $3.25 a gallon on average, and in the past week, the price of Eureka gas has increased by nearly 30 cents.
