Redu Space services RSS has a vacancy for a member of the IT Team at the ESA Redu Station in the Ardennes region of Belgium. In this position you will Manage a team of 3 people Oversee the daytoday activities of work groupteam Be accountable for work groupteam results Assign tasks and check work at frequent intervals Maintain orderly work processes by coordinating work flow and work quality Build an environment that supports cooperation and cohesiveness among the work team and with other areas within the organization Establish short and midterm work plans and optimize resources to ensure that work area objectives e.g., productivity, quality, costs are consistently met Manage the performance and development of direct reports Provide input for training plan Resolve problems through immediate actions or shortterm planning and sets priorities to ensure task completion. Take the lead in infrastructure design and project based on main technologies and skills described here below Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria Technicalengineering degree in Information Technology or experience equivalent Good analytical skills Good working knowledge of system design implementationintegration and testing Experience in large projects, involving several subcontractors An experience in space operations mission planning, satellite controlling being an asset Ability to manage the team and at least have sound understanding of the IT technologies supported and developed by the team May be extending knowledge to other disciplinesareas Project Manager Fluent in French and good level in English Team Worker Autonomous Customer facing Good knowledge in Unix Linux environments RedHat based Good knowledge in Windows Server environments Windows 2012R2, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO Good knowledge in Exchange 2013 Good knowledge in VMware Cluster Infrastructures vSphere 5.0 and 6.0 Good knowledge in VMware Horizon View Infrastructures Horizon 6.0 Good knowledge in HP Technologies SANs, Server, Switches, Good knowledge in networks Cisco Switches, WatchGuard Firewalls, Citrix NetScaler Good knowledge in Infrastructure Networks architecture Knowledge in programming languages Java, Python, is considered as an asset Knowledge in ITIL standards is considered as an asset Good skill in technical writing and procedures.
