Borealis® enhances illumination of all models of Yokogawa CSU10, 21, 22, and X1 scan heads regarding uniformity, throughput, and imaging performance. Extension of excitation wavelength range to 400–750 nm increases image quality, acquisition rates, image quantification, and imaging depth of thick or scattering specimens. While flexible bellows attachment to microscope enables strain-free alignment, field lens tubes enhance imaging performance and allow adjustment of effective pinhole size.
