Inea brings 10 Gbps broadband to Poland

2018-10-15 10:15:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Polish regional cable operator Inea, based in Poznan and serving the Wielkompolska region, has introduced what it claims is the world's fastest fibre-optic, symmetrical broadband, at a speed of 10 Gbps. Apart from Poland, only the residents of Switzerland and some cities in the US, Japan, South Korea and Singapore can use such a fast internet connection. The launch of a 10 Gbps link in Poland was carried out jointly with Nokia. Thanks to the XGS-PON equipment introduced, customers can also expect very low pings, which is of key importance for online entertainment.
