ASABE is revising ASAE S324.1, Volumetric Capacity of Box Type Manure Spreaders – Dual Rating Method, and is seeking comment on proposed draft. Last revised in 1986, standard is being updated for clarity and simplification of calculation process. Proposed revision will be applicable to vertical beater-type machines and add a box-width relation to heaped capacity for improved accuracy. This story is related to the following:Trade Associations
