With its cutting edge toughness and chip compression characteristics, CE4 geometry accommodates medium to high feed rates. Universal CF5 geometry is suited for long-chipping materials and medium feed rates, while CF6 geometry is intended for applications with low feed rates, non-ferrous metals, small diameters, or thin-walled tubes. All geometries have Tiger•tec® Silver CVD coating technology, can be supplied in insert widths from 1.5–6.0 mm, and come in WSM33S and WSM43S cutting materials.
