Investing app for millennials raises $50 million

Robinhood, an investing app targeted at millennials and first-time investors, raised $50 million in a round led by New Enterprise Associates. The maker of the app, which doesn't charge a commission per trade and doesn't have account minimums, plans to use the money to expand internationally, starting with Australia, as well as to build out its team and products.
