Junior Achievement of Central North Carolina is preparing to launch several job-shadowing programs this year in partnership with major Triad employers including Ralph Lauren, HAECO Americas and United Parcel Service Inc. The programs are part of a strategy by the local Junior Achievement chapter led by Jacqueline McCracken to provide high school juniors with opportunities to explore in-demand careers and create a sustainable pipeline of new employees for local businesses. The effort comes at a time when Junior Achievement of Central North Carolina has increased its reach over the past two years to 11,000 students annually across six Triad counties, up from 8,200 students per year.
