(Telecompaper) German cable network operator Kabel Deutschland added 71,000 net new internet and phone customers in the first quarter to 30 June to reach over 2 million internet and phone subscribers. It added 314,000 internet and phone subscribers in the 12 months to end-June. Total blended Internet & Phone ARPU remained stable at EUR 27.85. Premium TV RGUs grew by 24,000, adversely impacted by the churn of 32,000 Kabel BW pay-TV wholesale customers, and a generally softer demand in the first quarter.
