Kimberly-Clerk to spin-off healthcare, focus on personal care

Consumer goods maker Kimberly-Clerk has unveiled details of a planned spin-off for its health care business, which is due to happen on October 23rd. The tax-free spin-off proposes to form the new publicly traded company, Halyward Health and will also lead to an increased share re-purchase, to take into account expected proceeds from the sale.
