LG Develops World's First Hexagonal Smartwatch Battery

LG Chem has developed the world's first hexagonal battery for smartwatches and plans to start mass-producing it this year. With 25 percent more capacity than traditional rectangular versions, the hexagonal battery lengthens smartwatches' usage time by up to four hours per charge, LG claimed on Sunday.
