Based on laser robot arm in which laser beam delivery is fully integrated, JENOPTIK-VOTAN® BIM is designed for cutting and welding of metals. Laser beam is coupled in through robot foot so that transport fiber does not need to be moved within working space. Small laser cutting head, weighing just 5 kg, can access narrow areas and enables repeat accuracy of ±50 µm. To minimize installation time, JENOPTIK-VOTAN® BIM can be transported and positioned using forklift truck.
