Last week in telecoms: another week of telecoms underperforming, our index is down 16% YTD

(Telecompaper) Last week was the third in a row of the European telecoms sector underperforming the broader market. The good news was that the losses weren't quite as steep as we have seen before. Performances in week 52 ranged from +11 percent for Intelsat to -4.9 percent for Gamma Communications. Our index was down 0.9 percent, versus -0.5 percent for the EuroStoxx 50 index.
