Last weel in media: OTT service Joyn and StarzPlay expand, broadcasters in consolidation mode

(Telecompaper) Walt Disney had another box office hit in its hands, while the OTT services segment kept expanding. In broadcast, consolidation was the common theme. The Telecompaper Global Media index ended week 48 up 0.7 percent, just behind the S&P 500 index (+1.0%).
