At the request of the Union County Board of Elections, the Union County Sheriff's Office is investigating the authenticity of signatures gathered on two election petitions in Marysville's 8th precinct. Noticing what are believed to be forged signatures on the petitions, elections officials notified the sheriff's office requesting a criminal investigation into the authenticity of the signatures.
