Using Special Processing Module, manufacturers can design experiments for testing evolving processes and products. Engineers can configure special instructions in system to enforce work requests for R/D in controlled manner. With non-standard flows, engineers can insert, modify, or remove process steps and instructions for particular lots. They may also enforce specific split and merge positions where different units in lot are re-routed for experimental steps and process adjustments.
