Major P3 DBFOM Procurement Planned for LAX Modernization

In the largest public-private partnership procurement in the history of California, the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners announced plans to deliver a world-class transportation system to Los Angeles International Airport through the estimated $5 billion Landside Access Modernization Program. The centerpiece of the Modernization Program will be an automated people mover that will connect the Central Terminal Area with a new consolidated rental car facility, with stops in between at new airport parking facilities and a station connecting to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority regional transit system.
