By physically interrupting electric circuit when rotated to Off position, EM30MSD Series protects operators from high-voltage (1,500 V AC/DC) shock accidents. Plug connector features signal contact with interlocking switch to detect mating status and automatically shuts off power when disconnected to avoid hot swapping. Along with multiple contact point design, features include IEC 60601 finger test compliance; round, multi-contact plug terminal contact structure; and bayonet lock systems.
