Marathon Oil (MRO) Stock Down as Oil Prices Slip

Crude oil is retreating by 1.32% to $51.64 per barrel and Brent crude is up slightly by 0.39% to $57.07 per barrel this afternoon, according to the CNBC.com index. The price of oil is moving into the red this afternoon following data from the Energy Information Administration showing U.S. crude and gasoline stockpiles increased more than expected last week.
