Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., the country's largest car maker, said Wednesday that it expects to sell a record 1.148 million vehicles in 2014, confirming predictions that India's car market is on course to rebound this year. A wide product lineup consisting mainly of fuel-efficient small cars, deepening penetration into rural markets, and a vast dealership network will help drive sales, R. S. Kalsi, head of marketing and sales told reporters.
