Boosting Chicago's Competitiveness as a National Leader in Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics is a Critical Part of Mayor Emanuel's Plan for Economic Growth and Jobs; Interview Days to be Held at City Colleges of Chicago on October 18 and October 25 Chicago received support from the Harvard Kennedy School's Social Impact Bond Lab, which provides pro bono technical assistance to state Mayor Rahm Emanuel today announced that UPS will create more than 4,000 full-time and part-time seasonal jobs in the Chicagoland area as part of a Fall Hiring Initiative. The openings are for a combination of positions, including package handlers, delivery drivers, tractor-trailer divers and driver helpers.
