The Choice cutout continues to follow normal declining prices during the "Dog Days" of summer when beef sales suffer. Very hot weather normally slows beef sales down and meat buyers become more cautious; prices have been following the trends set in 2013 and 2015. By Ed Czerwien, USDA Market News Reporter read more
