Metro to launch bus service between the Westside and Valley

At long last, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority will put a bus line on the 405 Freeway, connecting the San Fernando Valley with the Westside. Line 788 -- the Valley-Westside Express bus line -- will begin service in December, running through the Sepulveda Pass along the freeway carpool lanes, which now run both directions.
