Michael Carano, director of new products and business development with OM Group Electronic Chemicals, LLC, has been appointed IPC Ambassador Council chairman. Council is comprised of members of the IPC Hall of Fame, who use their knowledge, experience, and insights to provide advice and guidance to IPC and its programs to further advance the electronics industry. Carano, who currently serves on IPC's Board of Directors, succeeds the late Dieter Bergman.
