Designed to provide precise control of rotation and speed of single-phase fans and motors, 8-bit Models ML610Q101 and ML610Q102 feature internal oscillator and multiple timers to reduce rotational speed variations, minimizing audible noise. Built-in hysteresis allows differential comparator to monitor Hall element on motor to determine motor speed and direction. Housed in 16-pin, 4 x 4 mm package, MCUs offer noise immunity to ±30 kV in IEC61000-4-2 noise testing.
