Job description For our customer in the Netherlands we are seeking 2 experienced Microsoft SharePoint developers one with focus on Java, one with focus on Alfresco Enterprise Edition. Responsibilities The objective is to provide application and user support to the technical user community in the areas of Collaborative Software collaboration groupware, project scheduling, etc. Enterprise Content Management Document Management Custom web applications Information Management For this purpose SharePoint and Alfresco Enterprise Edition solutions are deployed and available to the technical user community. For Alfresco several millions of documents are managed serving close to 1000 users. The supporting hardware computing facility is managed separately. The service shall cover the following elements list not exhaustive Answer to user request for information Responding and handling enduser support issues in a timely manner, and troubleshoots user issues. Solve issues on existing delivered solutions, including the coordination if the issue requires the intervention of another team. Definition and refinement of agile processes for managing this service in coordination with the responsible. Management and implementation of requests for change Adhoc presentations and meetings Standard and adhoc trainings Gathering solutions requirements from the business users, creating mockups, deliver native solutions, troubleshooting issues with complex configurations Working with business owners to assist to identify new areas on an ongoing basis where collaborative software can be leveraged Developing, maintaining, and enforcing governance policies Complementing access control management Communicating policy and standards to users and promoting team site best practices Partnering with all team members to help maintain overall health of the SharePoint site collections, sites, libraries and lists, compiling monthly usage reports on usage and progress of site collections, performing site health checks Creating and maintaining operations procedural documentation internal to the proximity service to assure the continued maintenance of the collaborative solutions and supported products Developing and maintaining a Knowledge Base Support in transferring and replacing other shared storage solutions Enhance and maintain security This is a fulltime position as a Terma employee for a placement in the Netherlands, starting 4th quarter 2017 customer depending. Qualifications Competencies Applicants shall have preferably a university degree, in the domain of software engineering, or Aerospace Engineering or other suitable qualification. Essential skills are Profound qualifications for SharePoint development with focus on Java 5 years software development experience. The candidate should have in addition to the normal SharePoint skills experiences in at least some of the following points J2EE and Web development experience including Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JDMC, JMS, etc. Proficiency in development environment using Tomcat Relevant work experience in developing highly scalable and resilient applications. Database programming using SQL on MySQL Expertise with REST, JSON, XML, and Web Services development. Experience in UI technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Ember.jsAngular.js. Experience in build tools like Maven, ANT and source control tools like SVNCVSGIT. Certified Scrum Master Preferred Skills Experience with Content Management Systems CMS especially Alfresco would be a plus.
