(Telecompaper) Microsoft announced two new low-end Lumia smartphones, the Lumia 435 and Lumia 532. The phones running Windows Phone 8.1 will launch in select markets in Europe, APAC and IMEA in February. Both devices will be available in bright green, bright orange, white and black, and will be available in single- and dual-SIM variants. The Lumia 435 is expected to sell for EUR 69 before taxes and subsidies, and the Lumia 532 is priced at EUR 79. The Lumia 435 is the first 400 series Lumia and the most affordable Lumia yet. The Lumia 532 is a more powerful quad-core smartphone that builds on the Lumia 530, launched last August as the first Lumia under EUR 100. Microsoft highlighted its own services on the phones, such as full Skype integration for voice and video calls with the front-facing camera, the Lumia Camera and Lumia Selfie apps, Microsoft Office software, 30 GB free online storage with OneDrive, the Cortana virtual assistant and the latest Lumia Denim update.
