A few days after the release of Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1, and on the eve of the release of the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2, Microsoft has pulled the Windows RT 8.1 update from the Windows Store. Ironically, despite the fact that Microsoft only had to test Windows RT 8.1 on five devices, the update bricked some Surface RT tablets, causing them to fail during boot-up.
