Mini hits new record with almost 15,000 car sales

IT WAS already one of the most successful icons of Oxford, but the Mini empire has grown even stronger after record-breaking sales. In the first three months of the year the motoring giant sold 14,961 cars, the highest number in the first quarter of a year since the brand was relaunched in 2001.
