LSE Space is looking for Mission Operators mf to support the EDRS Mission Operations team at the Mission Operations Centre located in Ottobrunn Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities all performed in shift work Supervision of system performance and of automatic service provision to customers Maintenance of actual mission planning data and the mission schedule Control and Supervision of planning processes and reporting to engineering in case of conflicts Control and Supervision of key management processes Monitoring of the health status of all system components Monitoring of service infrastructure and the distributed IP Network Monitoring the use of the satellite payload Levell response to anomalies, based on procedures Data collection after anomalies Activation of engineering support if required User Help Desk first response Trouble ticket and incident management, including the generation, support and resolution of problems, for network and customer issues Routine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul MRO for the relevant equipment Shift handovers in accordance with checklists Skills Experience Technical education or bachelor degree in a relevant subject Experience in satellite andor ground segment operations Knowledge of satellite communications, earth observation missions, as well as mission operation ground infrastructure e.g. at ESOC, DLR, etc. Knowledge of problem solving in IT landscapes would be a plus Strong focus on customer and service Communication level in English verbal and written Fluency in English is mandatory German skills would be a plus Willingness for shift work 247 High level of motivation, selfdriven with high flexibility and good communication skills Ability to operate in a multinational team organization Location of work Ottobrunn, near Munich, Germany.
