(Telecompaper) The telecom sector has another two weeks to come up with a code of practice on handling phone subsidies and associated consumer credit, the finance minister told parliament. The previous deadline of 01 March was not met, in part due to concerns expressed by the competition regulator ACM. The sector's proposals also did not lead to a suitable agreement, so it was given another two weeks, from 21 March. After that the finance minister will decide whether the proposed rules are in line with the requirements of credit regulations.
