2015-09-03 08:58:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Motorola has presented a new version of its smartwatch the Moto 360. The watch keeps the round face and adds improved specifications and battery-life and more choice of finishings for the band and body. Using the Moto Maker studio, customers can choose from a wide range of designs, including watches specifically designed for men, women and fitness enthusiasts. New quick-release bands also mean they can swap between a range of leather and metal bands at any time. The Moto 360 runs Android Wear and includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connecting with other devices. Motorola also introduced the new 360 Sport model. It comes with GPS, hear-rate monitor, a hybrid display designed for viewing in sunlight and the ability to download music for offline listening.  The new Moto 360 will be available in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. Pre-sales have started in the US, at Motorola.com, Google Play and BestBuy.com. It will be available starting in late September at Nordstrom, Best Buy and Verizon. Prices vary by design from USD 299.99 to USD 429.99.
