Supplied in 4 x 5 mm package, TPS65290 enables total system quiescent current down to 100 nA — minimizing power consumption in battery-powered, MCU-based water/gas meters and other industrial applications. Managing all system power requirements, including load conditions from 100 nA to 500 mA, power management unit (PMU) incorporates 3 factory-configurable, always-on power supplies for MCU sleep mode and automatic function for choosing power from input voltage or buck-boost converter.
